We had just one night at the Lodge, but it was lovely. The bungalow was big and clean. Nice animals in the garden. Friendly staff and particularly good food! We enjoyed our meat and dessert. We recommend it.

Unfortunately, I only stayed one night while traveling from Johannesburg to Kruger but it was a great nights rest. Very comfortable beds, clean rooms, hot showers, and awesome breakfast. I arrived very late so I didn't get to sample the night meal.
The staff is very friendly and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. It's definitely off the beaten path but well worth it! Stayed July 2016, travelled with family

We have spend our first night at the lodge and were really surprised by the delicious dinner served on a terrace with a beautiful view over the river. The lodge is located several kilometers away from the main road, providing the feeling to be in the middle of South Africa. The walk to the giraffes after breakfast was one of the greatest things we experienced during our holiday. Thank you a lot for this nice holiday start!

Such a lovely place we did not want to leave.... kids loved the pools, great food, although some rooms are 'self catering' if all you want to do is Braai. Nyala, peacocks and horses roam freely in grounds and giraffe, zebra and other wildlife in the surrounding park. Cynthia and her staff were lovely. Recommend it for romantic weekend away, family holiday or couple of nights stopover en route from Kruger.
